The monthly Mokokchung District Planning and Development Board meeting was held on 13th November 2024 at Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall, Mokokchung under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman, Mokokchung DPDB, Thsuvisie Phoji, IAS.

During the discussion hour, the house decided to recommend and forwarded the recognition of Tsungur Village under Ongpangkong, Mokokchung and Kangtsung Rongpang Village under Tuli Sub- division, Mokokchung to the concern authorities. The house also decided to recommend the registration of the Hills Tribe Foundation, Mokokchung.

Deliberating on the participation of Governmental establishments at Cherry Blossom Festival at Longkhum Village, Deputy Commissioner urged all the Departments to come forward and participate in the festival to encourage the local tourism sector.

During the meeting, The DC also informed the members about the visit of Minister of State, Home Affairs, Government of India, Bandi Sanjay Kumar to the district on the 19th of November 2024. In this regard, he informed all the stakeholders for their active participation.
