Mokokchung Police have announced a cash reward of ₹50,000 for any credible information leading to the arrest of three fugitives who escaped from the District Jail Mokokchung on October 30, 2025.

The escaped undertrial prisoners have been identified as Habibulla Islam, Sukur Ali, and Roshida Ali. Police informed that all three have recently cut their hair short, while Sukur Ali is distinguishable by having six fingers on both hands and six toes on both feet.

The escapees are believed to be hiding in the nearby jungle of Chungtia village and were last seen by fishermen near the Milak river.

Mokokchung Police have appealed to the public to provide any credible information that could lead to their arrest. Informants can contact the police at 70056 03065 or 98620 23209. Those providing information will have their identity kept strictly confidential, police assured.
