In view of the major damage to Mon Namtola bridge, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS, Deputy Commissioner Mon has informed that the movement of all kinds of heavy vehicles from Namtola , Charaideo, Assam to Mon, Nagaland and vice versa shall remain suspended till further order.

Further the light, medium and all kinds of passenger vehicles travelling via mentioned route are adviaed to take alternate route via Namtola Charali Assam- Ladoigarh-Jaboka-Pentom junction (Tizit/Mon) and vice versa till the restoration of the Mon-Namtola bridge.
