The Mon District Football Association (MDFA) has announced to conduct selection trials for players to represent Mon district at the upcoming Dr. T. Ao Trophy to be held at Kohima from August 1-15. The district trials will be held on July 9 and 10 at Pangting Ground, Mon village from 10 am onwards.

The MDFA informed that the selection process will determine the final 20 players for the team. Experienced coaches and selectors will assess players’ technical skills, tactical awareness, physical fitness, and teamwork, and selection will be made based on the players’ performance during the trial sessions.
