The monthly meeting of the Mon District Planning & Development Board was held on 28th November 2025 at DC’s Conference Hall, Mon under the chairmanship of Mankhao Konyak, Chairman, DPDB. The Deputy Commissioner Mon, Wennyei Konyak, NCS presided over the proceeding, and welcomed the members present and called upon the new members for self-introduction.

After reviewing previous meeting minutes, DC highlighted the agendas proposed by MLA & Advisor for DUDA, W. Chingang Konyak regarding the Wakching settlement under Mon District as Urban Station Committee. The house recommended and forwarded to the concerned department for consideration.

Regarding the creation of Primary School at Tobu Village, the board directed the SDEO Tobu to submit detailed information in the next meeting.

The house also deliberated on the Cabinet meeting minutes held on 16th October and forwarded the case to the Konyak Union for further verification and recommendation.

The chairman of Mohung Changai also submitted a proposal for creation of Anganwadi Centre at Mohung Changai. After deliberation, the houses directed the CDPO, Aboi for further verification and submit through proper channels.

The proposal of Little Flower School, Tizit to Change the School name to Kano Memorial School, Tizit was recommended and forwarded it to the higher authority.

The house also discussed the constitution of the Committee for Village Adoption and approved it to work out by January 2026. Constitution of Committee for LADP 2024 – 2025. Chief Medical Officer Mon shared about awareness and precaution on Malaria in the District.
