Konyak Civil Societies headed by Konyak Union felicitated the Konyak Legislators of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly on 11 April 2023 at Konyak Union Conference Hall, Mon, DIPR informed.
Konyak Union President, Tingthok, in his welcome address, congratulated and thanked the legislators for attending the programme. Ponglem, president, Konyak Nyupuh Sheko Khong (KNSK) reminded some grievances faced by Konyak in general like road conditions in Mon District, and the unemployment problem.
Konyak Students’ Union President Noklem requested the legislators to look into developmental issues like roads, electricity, and network problems. He also reminded them about the Platinum Jubilee of the Konyak Students’ Union.

On behalf of Konyak Legislators, Noke Wangnao, Advisor of Social Welfare, said peace and cooperation are important for development. He urged the gathering to maintain a friendly environment. He also said that just an educational degree is not sufficient to build society, but one should know the roots, and history of Konyaks.
A special number was presented by Yuwang & Friends. Programme was chaired by Chingwang Konyak, Vice President of KU.
