Kohima: Miss Nagaland 2022 presents prizes to winners

Morung United FC emerged as the champions of MPL 2023 on Friday at IG Stadium, Kohima. According to DIPR, the closing ceremony of the Morning Premier League 2023 was celebrated with fervor.

Deputy Director of Youth Resource & Sports, Dovo, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. He congratulated the organizers and players for their hard work and determination, contributing to the success of the league. Dovo expressed his hope for the league’s continued growth and improvement in the coming years, emphasizing the motto, ‘Health and Friendship.’

Mele, MPL Convener, expressed gratitude to the Department of Youth Resources & Sports for their support and all participating teams for maintaining good sportsmanship. He also thanked the sponsors, including Lirunas, Symphony Café, Innovations Plus, Life Tents, Life Pro Productions, Disong Designs, and well-wishers for their support.

Hikali Achumi, who holds the title of Miss Nagaland 2022, added prestige and glamour to the event as she presented prizes to the deserving winners.

The MPL 2023 closing ceremony event was hosted by Femina Miss India Nagaland 2018 Ruopfü Whiso while Hachobeni and Chumreno entertained the audience with a presentation of K-pop dance.
