The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) and Motor Vehicles Department, Nagaland are organising an ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION to mark the National Road Safety Month, 2024 which is being observed from 15th January to 14th February 2024.

The topic of the competition is “Addressing Road Safety in Nagaland”.

The Essay Writing Competition is open to all age groups and carries attractive cash prizes of Rs 10,000 as 1st prize, and Rs 6,000 and Rs 3,000 as 2nd and 3rd prizes. Moreover, there will be three consolation prizes of Rs 1,000 each. The best two entries will be published in local dailies, the department informed.

The length of the essay should be not more than 2000 words and not less than 1900 words. All essays must be submitted in PDF format by email to nrsanagaland@gmail.com by 7th February 2024.

Only original essays will be considered for the competition. The Department has also reminded participants to include “Name, Address, E-Mail ID, Contact number” in the document.
