As part of their Community Service Extension Programme, the National Service Scheme (NSS) of Mount Tiyi College, in collaboration with the Department of Sociology, visited Morning Star Children’s Home at Wokha today.
During the visit, essential utilities, including stationery, toiletries, detergents, and toys were donated to the children at the home.
The visiting students presented songs and played games with the children. In a heartwarming gesture, Thungjano E. Ovung shared words of encouragement, lifting the spirits of everyone present.

A total of four faculty members and 28 students participated in the visit. NSS Programme Officer Rentsamo J. Humtsoe extended his gratitude to the proprietor of Morning Star Children’s Home, the faculty members, and the students for their efforts in making the visit a success.
