Member of Lok Sabha from Nagaland, S Supongmeren Jamir paid a courtesy call on Raymond Mullen, the Deputy Ambassador of Ireland to India, at the Embassy of Ireland, New Delhi on August 12.
During the meeting, they discussed and acknowledged each other’s rich culture and traditions, and expressed the need for inter cultural exchange initiatives in the future, informed a press release by the NPCC Communications Department.

Jamir and Mullen also exchanged views on the scope and potential for bilateral cooperation and collaboration in a range of areas, especially in the Agro based sector, and agreed on exploring possibilities to take the idea forward.
