Raj Bhavan in Mumbai is the official residence of the Governor of Maharashtra, situated on 44 acres of land surrounded by the sea on three sides . This stunning building has a rich history, with Its beautiful carpets, paintings, making it one of the most beautiful buildings in Mumbai city. Earlier , the former Chief minister of Nagaland , S.E Jamir also served as the Governor of Maharashtra from 2008-2010 .
Beneath the Raj Bhavan Mumbai bunker is indeed a captivating historical site. Discovered in 2016, this 150-meter-long underground bunker dates back to the British era . Originally constructed before World War I, it served as part of the Government House for the Bombay Presidency.

After being closed for decades, it was renovated and now houses the Gallery of Indian Revolutionaries, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in June 2022.
