The second day of the Mungri 2025 was celebrated as Literary day at Zisaji Presidency College, Kiphire on October 29.
The celebration took on a meaningful note as Tsurenshe L reigning Miss Kiphire 2025 graced the final session of the day and delivered a speech on Mental Health “Safe Minds, Strong Hearts”. Tsurenshe emphasized the need to break the silence and stigma, stating, “Mental health is often misunderstood by the society which treats it as a taboo”. Addressing the students, she shed light on the silent struggles many young people face, such as anxiety and depression. She reminded everyone that “it’s ok not to be okay”, encouraging self-care and openness.
She further urged the students to challenge the stigma around mental health, adding that talking about one’s problem is not a sign of weakness, but a mark of real strength.

The event began with various literary activities such as essay writing, poem recitation, quiz, photography, declamation and debate competitions, which witnessed enthusiastic participations from the students, creating both intellect and creativity. The session also featured college anthem competition and ‘ZPC Got Talent,’ where students showcased their diverse talents through captivating performances.
Danglila and Apongba were the host of the final session. The welcome address was delivered by Island Peace Yangthsaba and Rangcholiba, literary secretary (ZPCSU) proposed the vote of thanks.
Mungri 2025 will continue with sports activities in the coming three days, informed a press release.
