Shark Tank India Success
Naara Aaba’s commitment to sustainability and community empowerment caught the attention of investors on Shark Tank India (Season 2). The company secured a deal worth Rs 75 lakh. Vineeta Singh of Sugar Cosmetics and Vikas D. Nahar of Happilo offered Rs 50 lakhs for 5 percent equity and Rs 25 lakhs as a loan at 10 percent interest, totaling Rs 75 lakhs in funding.
A Journey that began with Kiwi fruits
Naara Aaba’s voyage began in 2017 with the aim of connecting markets for the region’s abundant but underutilized kiwi fruits. Founder Rita initiated the process by purchasing kiwis from neighborhood farmers to produce wine, thus creating a sustainable and profitable market for local produce.
