Naga Christian Fellowship Dehradun celebrates 25 years

The Naga Christian Fellowship (NCF) Dehradun celebrated its 25th anniversary on February 4 at New Life Centre High School, 175, Kishanpur, Rajpur Road, Dehradun under the theme, “Being fashioned for Perfection”.

Dr. Kethoser Aniu Kevichusa, Evangelist and Bible teacher, who is based in Dimapur, was the speaker for the program. Dr. Kevichusa spoke from Joshua 24, while also contextualizing the passage with the contemporary Naga situation.

Many alumni including the pioneers, who started the NCF in the early part of 1999, were present on the occasion. Kuvera Nakro (Chairman) and Medohunuo Vizo (Treasurer), who came along with other fellow-pioneers, were the first office bearers of the fellowship. Pastors and associates of NCFs from other cities of the country, as well as scores of students, well-wishers, and members of the Christian community in Uttarakhand attended the event. Altogether, close to five hundred people attended the celebrations, which culminated with the rendition of the Hallelujah Chorus by the Anniversary Choir.

Tzudilong Tzudir, Pastor NCF Dehradun and Dr. Kezhakielie Whiso, Convenor, Planning Committee, extended gratitude to everyone who attended the event and supported the NCF through prayer, material and financial assistance, stated a press release by the Planning Committee, NCF Dehradun.
