Candidate Declaration and Prayer Programme was organised for Hukiye N Tissica, candidate for 34 Aghunato Assembly Constituency from Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), on 11 February at Aghunato in Zunheboto district.
Welcoming his well-wishers who had come from different villages to attend his programme, Tissica said that he was contesting in the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly because he has dreams and visions for his constituency and its people.

He admitted being disappointed when he did not get the ticket from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) due to its seat sharing arrangement with Nationalist democratic Progressive Party (NDPP). But God opened another door for him, he said, referring to getting the ticket from LJP to contest the election as its candidate.
Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) is fielding 16 candidates in the 2023 general election to the NLA that has a total of 60 seats.
At the event, Tissica highlighted the development works that he has already accomplished in Aghunato including the installation of solar street lights in around 19-20 villages and setting up of a ginger and turmeric factory at Aghulito village.
He declared to the people of 34 Aghunato A/C that his dream is to help the youth.
