Following the recent appointment of Benjamin Yepthomi as the State President of Nagaland BJP, congratulatory messages has been extended to new Nagaland BJP President.
Congratulating Yepthomi through X (Twitter) Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio posted, “Heartiest Congratulations, Shri Benjamin Yepthomi on your appointment as the State President @BJP4Nagaland by Shri @JP Nadda President of @BJP4India. I wish you a successful tenure. I also extend my good wishes for further success to the outgoing President Shri @AlongImna.”
Thanking CM Rio, Yepthomi said that he was looking “forward to working with you for the all round development of our state under the Double Engine Government”.
Congratulating Yepthomi on his new role, Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader, Y. Patton stated that Benjamin has served the party holding various positions and is a hardworking Karyakarta. Yepthomi was the State BJP Vice President and also President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) for two consecutive terms.
“With his vast knowledge of party affairs, his organizational skills and experience, Yepthomi will lead the party to greater heights,” expressed Patton. The Deputy CM also thanked the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP National party President JP Nadda for putting their trust on the young and dynamic leader to lead the party. Patton also acknowledged the contributions of Temjen Imna Along, the outgoing State BJP President for “steering the State BJP party to a better position.”

Taking to Twitter to express his gratitude, Yepthomi thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, National President JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, and National General Secretary (organisation) B L Santhosh for giving him the responsibility to serve as the State President of Nagaland. The new Nagaland BJP President also acknowledged Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa, North East Coordinator Sambit Patra, Co Cordinator Rituraj Sinha, Nagaland Incharge Nalin S Kohli, Deputy Chief Minister Yanthungo Patton, and General Secretary (org) Nagaland Abhay Giri.
“I further express my sincere gratitude to our dynamic leader Shri @AlongImna ji under whose leadership I got the opportunity to serve the party in various capacities.
