The Chief Electoral Office of Nagaland on Tuesday formally launched two videos in its pursue to fulfil the commitment of ‘No Voter To Be Left Behind’ as part of the Systematic Voters’ Education & Electoral Participation (SVEEP) movement for universal and enlightened participation of citizens in elections.
The first video is on Voters’ Awareness is scripted and directed by Dreamz Unlimited on behalf of the Chief Electoral Office. It had been uploaded a few days back for public viewing and has already seen 4.7 lakh views, the CEO office informed.
The other is a video for facilitation of hearing-impaired voters and motivational speech video by the State Persons with Disabilities (PwD) Icon, Ashe Kiba, the statement said.
Launching the challenge for Young Voters to express their views, Nagaland’s Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland, V. Shashank Shekhar, IAS mentioned that the young are very intelligent and knowledgeable. This challenge will give them an opportunity to express themselves on the theme “My Opinion of Elections in Nagaland”, he added.
