On the sidelines of an official visit to Russia, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio held two significant meetings in St. Petersburg aimed at enhancing India–Russia relations through diplomacy, collaboration, and cultural exchange.
Rio met with Neelam Rani, IFS, Consul General of India in St. Petersburg, where they discussed various areas of cooperation and ongoing engagement between the two nations.
Expressing gratitude, the Chief Minister appreciated the excellent arrangements made during his visit and commended Rani for her exemplary service to the nation.
“I had a fruitful meeting with Ms. Neelam Rani, IFS, Consul General of India in St. Petersburg, Russia. Grateful to her and her team for the excellent arrangements during my visit and for her exemplary service to our country. Best wishes to her in strengthening India–Russia ties,” CM Rio wrote on X.
In a separate meeting, CM Rio also engaged with Evgeny Grigoriev, Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg.
