Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee president S. Supongmeren Jamir and his team paid a courtesy visit to former Indian National Congress chief Sonia Gandhi at her residence in New Delhi on Wednesday.
Gandhi congratulated the newly appointed PCC President and also highlighted the party programme and policies. She further advised Jamir and the party in Nagaland to go to the grassroots level and listen to the voices of the people and work with them.
Jamir and his team had earlier visited the present All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Mallikarjun Kharge.
