A Thanksgiving cum Felicitation Programme was held for TR Zeliang on Friday at his residence in Jalukie Town, Peren. Zeliang is the new Deputy Chief Minister of Nagaland, in charge of planning and national highway, after winning the seat of 7th Peren Assembly Constituency in the recently held elections to the14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly.
In his speech, Zeliang thanked God for the landslide victory. The veteran politician gave the credit of his successes to the prayers and undying support of the people.
Deputy CM assured the people that being their choice and the elected leader, he will try to do as much as is possible for the people and will continue with his mission and the visions to bring development in all areas lacking behind.
Besides his supporters, Zeliang expressed his gratitude to the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) functionaries, prayer groups, media houses and his media team.

In the programme, Hanggau N. Hau felicitated NDPP Peren region, NDPP 7 Peren A/C, NDPP women organisation and youth organisation.
