The Nagaland Dobashi Association (NDBA) has expressed  shock over the incident that happened on May 18 around 4:00pm at Phoolbari Bus/Taxi Stand where one of its member Kezhalelie Lawrence Miasalhou Political Assistant to Deputy Commissioner (PA to DC) Kohima, Nagaland and his son Thejavizo B Miasalhou were assaulted, claiming the life of the former.

“The inhumanly act committed by the two individuals, namely Neizosetuo Kire and Khrietsonyü  Whuorie of Kohima Village is deeply distressing for which the Nagaland Dobashi Association condemns the inhuman crime/act committed to a highly respectable and elderly person’s life. While appreciating the law enforcement agencies for the arrest of the two individuals, the Nagaland Dobashi Association further urges the investigating agency to take the matter with all seriousness and deliver timely justice,” stated the comdemnation issued by President Vikheho Sema and General Secretary Vekhohu Vese.

With the demise of Kezhalelie Lawrence Miasalhou, the Naga society and the Nagaland Dobashi Association have lost one tall leader of the day, stated the NDBA extending its deepest condolences to the bereaved family members and wishing peace to the departed soul.
