The Peren District Christian Forum organized a Common Platform Rally for intending candidates of 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly from 7th Peren A/C, in the main town square Jalukie Town.

The programme began with invocation prayer by Kebau Raime, youth secretary, Zeme Baptist Church (ZBA), Jalukie. Rev. David Vaiphei, executive secretary, Kuki Baptist Association (KBA) apprised the candidates as well as the public about the Clean Election Movement.

The intending candidates of 7th Peren Assembly Constituency, TR Zeliang, UDA Chairman and former Chief Minister from Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP), and Kingudi Joseph, former General Secretary Nagaland Zeliang People’s Organisation (NZPO) from Naga People’s Front (NPF), also got the opportunities to share their visions and thoughts with the public.
However, K. Kengim Kulimbe, Independent candidate, could not attend the rally due to unavoidable circumstances.

The blessing was dedicated by Rev. Kitano Chewang, executive secretary, Liangmai Baptist Church (LBA) and the rally was concluded with vote of thanks by Rev. Mathiutai Gonmei, Executive secretary, Rongmei Baptist Church (RBCA).
