A special prayer programme for the intending candidates of 52 Assembly Constituency Longkhim-Chare was held today at Mission Centre, Yangli in Tuensang. The service was organised by the United Sangtam Baptist Lithroti Ashimϋkhong (USBLA).
In his welcome speech, USBLA youth secretary Tsilise stated that the programme was organised to invoke God’s blessings for the candidates and to help them remain faithful in the clean election movement.

United Sangtam Likhum Pϋmji president Aliba Sangtam advised the candidates, chief agents, party workers and voters to be cautious so as to avoid possible problems and dangers during the forthcoming elections.
During the programme, the three candidates – Muthingnyuba Sangtam, Sethri Sangtam and H Sethrongkyu Sangtam – were given time to share their mission and vision.

USBLA executive secretary Rev Y Imtiba then delivered the dedicatory prayer and the word of God.
The church is the moral institution and we stand firmly rooted in the clean election movement initiated by Nagaland Baptist Church Council, stated Rev Imitiba. He further thanked all three candidates for manifesting the virtue of obedience and coming to attend the programme.
The programme ended with a prayer for the candidates.
The United Sangtam Baptist Lithroti Ashimϋkhong thanked all who had made the programme a success and further urged all the voters to remain steadfast in the clean election movement.
