Nagaland Football Association’s special Annual General Body meeting cum Felicitation Program of Benei M. Lamthiu, general secretary, NFA and Member of Nagaland Legislative Assembly on Friday at Hotel Japfü, Kohima.

Lamthiu, in his speech, thanked the organisation and also appreciated K Neibu Sekhose for always advising and guiding him throughout his journey. He mentioned that football is a very powerful sport that unites people from all backgrounds and hoped that the people from this association will continue to grow and help each other.

All India Football Federation executive member and NFA President K Neibu Sekhose gave the welcome note while Head of Referee Kevingutuo Sekhose and NFCA President Roko Angami also greeted the occasion.

Roko Angami in his greetings said that Nagaland Football Association (NFA), being the highest echelon of Nagaland Football Fraternity has played a remarkable role in nurturing young aspiring talents and has paved a road map for the young generations to follow.

He wished Lamthiu the best and expressed hope that “Benei’s involvement in the NLA will pave more outcome and opportunities for NFA in setting higher benchmarks and through him many opportunities would be availed, which will eventually garner and improve the football fraternity of Nagaland from top to bottom and wished him the best.”

A special song was presented by Keneisenuo Sorhie and vote of thanks by Mughato Aye. The Nagaland Football Association vice president chaired the occasion. Earlier Viposa Kiso prayed for the program.
