As Nagaland prepares to co-host wrestling as part of the Khelo India University Games from February 22 to 26 2024, a co-ordination meeting was held at IG Stadium, Kohima on February 17, informed DIPR
Chairing the meeting, Secretary, Youth Resources & Sports, Anthony Ngullie called upon all the stakeholders to give their best for the success of the games. He also mentioned that the state was lucky to co-host such games on a national-level. Various agenda such as transport, accommodation, catering, security and other logistics were highlighted and deliberated by the house.

Members of various committees shared their work progress and shed light on their activities. Officials from various government departments such as Youth Resources & Sports, Transport, Power, PHE, Police etc., including an official from the Sports Authority of India, attended the meeting.
Earlier, during the day, a half-marathon race was held as part of the Khelo India University Games at Kohima.
