The Nagaland Government has declared the holiday lists for the year 2024 for government employees. In the notification issued on 23rd November 2023, the General Administration Branch-II of Home Department, Nagaland, provided three lists – General Holidays, Restricted Holidays and Public Holidays under the Negotiable Instrument Act 1881.

It also reminded that a government employee may avail not more than three days of Restricted

Holidays from the list of Restricted Holidays during the Calendar Year 2024

The Nagaland Home Department also informed that no public transactions would take place in the Banks and Financial Institutions in the State on the mentioned dates in the Calendar Year 2024.
