Nagaland Government sets up Helpline for Nagas in violence struck Manipur

Kohima: The government also urged all to maintain calm and not believe in rumours

The Nagaland Government has on Thursday said that it is keeping a close watch on the law and order situation prevailing in the neighbouring state of Manipur. Expressing its concern for the safety and security of people from Nagaland presently in Manipur and Imphal City, it said that information is also being obtained for making arrangements for those from Nagaland requiring evacuation.

In this regard, Helpline numbers have been activated at the Police Headquarter Nagaland and Nagaland State Disaster management Authority (NSDMA).
