Nagaland Governor La Ganesan visits NEZCC Dimapur

Governor and Chairman North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), La. Ganesan paid his maiden visit to NEZCC Dimapur on 9 March.

In his address, the governor congratulated all the officers and staff of NEZCC, led by its Director, Dr. Prashana Gogoi, for their tireless efforts in promoting and preserving the rich cultural heritage of the Northeast region, a DIPR report stated.

The diverse cultures of the North Eastern states need to be promoted and preserved and NEZCC is committed to preserving the rich culture and heritage, the governor stated and thanked the Centre for encouraging documentation of various forms of arts, music, and dance which are disappearing.

Meanwhile, the director of NEZCC presented the welcome address, while Yotsu Cultural Club (Lotha), Chakhesang Zuve Cultural Club, and Tsunso Cultural Club (Yimkhiung) performed the cultural dance.
