Rajya Sabha MP, S Phangnon Konyak and Lok Sabha MP, S Supongmeren Jamir on Thursday jointly chaired a meeting of the Telecom Advisory Committee (TAC) of BSNL Nagaland Business Area in Dimapur.

In her remarks, Phangnon Konyak underscored BSNL’s crucial role as a long-standing partner in India’s digital growth, noting its continued contribution in extending connectivity even to government offices. She emphasized that quality telecom services should not remain confined to towns and cities but must equally reach villages, ensuring fairness and inclusivity.

Echoing the same concerns, Supongmeren Jamir called for regular reviews of BSNL’s infrastructure and connectivity in Nagaland. He urged officials of the public sector undertaking to ensure balanced and equitable network coverage across all regions of the State, particularly in underserved and remote areas.
