The Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) has announced the celebration of Olympic Day on June 23, 2025 at IG Stadium, Kohima, promoting the global Olympic values of Move, Learn, Discover on the theme “Together for a Better World.”

The event will feature track races for children aged 8 to 12 years, with a total prize pool of over ₹1 lakh. Events are categorized by age and distance:

50 meters – Boys & Girls (Born between 22/06/2015 – 22/06/2016)

80 meters – Boys & Girls (Born between 22/06/2014 – 22/06/2015)

80 meters – Boys & Girls (Born between 22/06/2013 – 22/06/2014)

100 meters – Boys & Girls (Born between 22/06/2012 – 22/06/2013)

The reporting time is 8 a.m. on June 23 at IG Stadium, Kohima

The NOA has informed that registration is now open and the last date is June 17, 2025. Participants can register online by scanning the QR code, accessing the link provided, or through the official social media handles of the Nagaland Olympic Association.

Participants can also connect with the Nagaland Olympic Association office in Kohima for offline form.

Meanwhile, parents have been encouraged to support and motivate their children, within the eligible age groups, to take part in this celebration of sport and togetherness.

The Olympic Day celebration is aimed at encouraging physical activity, fostering teamwork, and promoting the Olympic spirit.
