The Nagaland Police has issued a press release informing the public on 1930 Citizen Financial Cyber Fraud Management and Reporting System (CFCFRMS). The 1930 CFCFRMS Is a helpline number operational in Nagaland since 1st February 2022 where Victim(s) of cyber financial fraud can inform this helpline and report their complaint by giving details of the debited credited accounts, amount of money lost and transaction details.
“On giving the complaint, the Bank Account/e-wallets of the fraudsters can be frozen immediately. Legal mechanism for reimbursing the lien amount can be availed if money is blocked from the fraudsters account,” stated Nagaland Police.

Since the inception of 1930, 943 complaints have been received by 1930 Helpline, Nagaland and an amount of Rs. 8,84,27,305 (Eight crore, eighty four Lakh, twenty thousand, three hundred and five) have been reported to be defrauded. A total of Rs. 1,20,91,314 (One crore, twenty lakh, ninety one thousand, three hundred and fourteen) has been frozen from 2006 accounts.
Nagaland Police have, therefore, advised that victims of cyber financial fraud may immediately call 1930 and report their complaint before the fraudsters spend or transfer the money, while simultaneously reporting to the nearest police station.
