The Nagaland Police has issued an advisory on possible investment scam by a company called ‘RGA’ which has “lured many investors from Nagaland promising huge returns.”

The State Police said that the initial investors are given returns as promised, apparently to look genuine. Further, down line percentages are given to investors for introducing new investors, it added. “This, appears to be a Ponzi Scheme”, it stated.

The Police has advised individuals who have lost money to this scam to call 1930 (Citizen Financial Cyber Fraud Reporting and Management System) immediately and report the scam with details for remedial measures and report these through the website https://cybercrime.gov.in/.
