Dimapur: LJP (RV) stands to gain from the NDPP-BJP 40:20 seat-sharing formula

LJP (RV) candidates receiving party tickets from Pranab Kumar, National Yuva President and Northeast in charge on 4 February 2023.

The Parliamentary Committee of Nagaland, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) declared its list of candidates for the ensuing 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly election.

The list includes prominent personalities and sitting MLAs who were denied tickets by the NDPP, BJP and other parties.

The party’s candidates are, 1 Dimapur-I: Viloto Pukhato, 2 Dimapur-II: V Vikheho Awomi, 3 Dimapur-III: Azheto Zhimomi, 5 Ghaspani ll: Kitiho S Rotokha, 12 Tseminyu: Er. Levi Rengma, 13 Pughoboto: Dr. Sukhato A Sema, 17 Chizami: Kevechutso Doulo, 18 Chozuba: Dr. Chotisuh Sazo, 20 Meluri: Yitachu, 35 Zunheboto: Ghovishe Kiba, 36 Satakha: Zeito Chophy, 39 Sanis: Sulanthung H Lotha, 42 Wakching: Y M Yollow Konyak, 45 Tehok: Chingkai Konyak, 49 Tamlu: B Bangtick Phom, 55 Tobu: Naiba Konyak, 57 Thonoknyu: L Khumo Khiamniungan, 58 Shamator-Chessore: R Tohanba and 60 Pungro-Kiphire: Kiusumew Yimchunger.

The five former NDPP candidates are Azheto Zhimomi, YM Yollow, Yitachu, Dr. Chotisuh, and L Khumo Khiamniungan.

Kitoho S Rotokha, who was expelled from the JD (U) for ‘anti-party’ activities, has also found a place in the list.
