The Working Committee of the Naga People’s Front (NPF) issued its party ticket for the upcoming election to 15 candidates in the first phase. The second phase of ticket distribution will be done on 5 February.

Its candidates are: Henry Zeliang from 6 Tening, Kingudi Joseph from 7 Peren, Khriehu Liezietsu from 10 Northern Angami, Vivolie Kezo from 16 Pfutsero, Kezhienyi Khalo from 17 Chizami, Sovenyi from 18 Chozuba, Kuzholuzo Nienu from 19 Phek, S Akho Leyri from 20 Meluri, Dr. Roland Lotha from 39 Sanis, Achumbemo Kikon from 40 Bhandari, Tahwang Angh from 41 Tizit, Wanglem Konyak from 43 Tapi, Er. C Kawang Konyak from 45 Tehok, D Yongnyak Konyak from 48 Moka and H Zungkum Chang from 54 Tuensang Sadar-II.

It may be mentioned that both the BJP and the NDPP released its list of candidates yesterday. Notably, the BJP has fielded one woman candidate, while the NDPP has fielded two.
