Special Expenditure Observer (SEO) for the General Election to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023, BR Balakhrishnan has urged the various election agencies to work hard to curb the use of money power and other forms of inducements in order to hold a free and fair election.

The SEO informed this during the video conference meeting held with Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Nagaland, V Shashank Shekhar IAS; State Police Nodal Officer; Police; Income Tax; CGST; DRI; State Taxes; NCB; ED; CISF; RPF; Assam Rifles; Bank; Airport and Forest officials at the CEO office chamber on 1 February.

Balakhrishnan also took reports from the various agencies, particularly on the seizures made after the announcement of the election and urged them to give their best in maintaining law and order.
