Two teams from Nagaland are currently participating at the 7th National Master Games 2025 in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. Organized by Master Games Association, Himachal Pradesh (Under the Auspices of Super Master Games & Sports Federation of India), the Nagaland State team are participating in football under two categories i.e., at the age group of 40+ and 50+, informed a press release.
The Nagaland contingent is led by Roko Angami, OSD Govt. of Nagaland, Football coach and National Advisor, Nagaland Master Games Association (NMGA), and Yambemo Humtsoe General Secretary, NMGA.
Under the 40+ category, the team is led by Longshithung Patton (Team manager) and A Ngangshiba Sangtam (Team Coach). For the 50+ category, the team will be led by Razouvituo Chatsu, Team Manager (V.P NMGA) and Mhao Lotha, (Team Coach).

Both the teams began league matches from April 22 at Police ground, Dharamshala, where the press release informed that both teams have entered semi-finals.
During the inaugural program Chief Guest Rajesh Dharmani, Minister of Technical Education Govt. of Himachal Pradesh along with host officials and State representative commenced the 7th National Masters Games 2025. He encouraged all the states participating teams irrespective of any discipline to play with the sporting spirit and to create healthy relationship and coordination amongst the players and States.
