Nagaland successfully conducts PARAKH Rashtriya Sarvekshan 2024

Nagaland successfully conducted the PARAKH Rashtriya Sarveksha 2024 formerly known as National Achievement Survey (NAS) on December 4 to assess the learning outcomes and overall health of Education. The Survey report shall reflect the efficacy of interventions in the schools and determine the Performance Grading Index (PGI) of the State in Education, informed a press release the Media and Communications Coordinator,

Samagra Shiksha, Nagaland. The Survey was conducted by PARAKH, NCERT New Delhi and CBSE at the centre. In the State, Samagra Shiksha along with SCERT facilitated the survey.

The conduct of the survey was closely monitored by the observers from the Ministry of Education, Government of India and CBSE New Delhi. Commissioner & Secretary School Education & SCERT, State Mission Director, Samagra Shiksha Nagaland, Director SCERT Nagaland and Chairperson NBSE supported by 16 State Monitoring teams for 16 Districts comprising of officials from SCERT, Directorate of School Education, NBSE and Samagra Shiksha supported the District Level Coordinators (DLCs), officials from the District Mission Authority (DMA) and EBRCs to ensure the conduct of the survey as per the PARAKH guidelines.

A total number of 22820 students from grades 3, 6 and 9 from 732 sample schools from Government, Private and Central schools in Nagaland participated in the PARAKH Survey 2024.
