In this regard, Zhimomi asserted that the Government of Nagaland has also taken optimum effort to be in tandem with the new initiatives of Ministry of Cooperation, covering all the segments of the cooperative movement, with particular emphasis on revitalization of PACS. The efforts of the government included formulation of new model bye-laws of PACS; PACS to act as Common Service Centres for better access to e-Services; digitalization of PACS; provision of world’s largest grain storage program in the cooperative sector; providing eligibility to PACS for LPG distributorship; PACS to act as Jan Aushadhi Kendras for access to generic medicine, etc.
