Nagaland tops in Aadhaar mandatory biometric updates for children

During the Aadhaar Samvaad held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on 8th April 2025, organized by UIDAI, MeitY, Government of India, the State of Nagaland was awarded the first position in Mandatory Biometric Updates (MBU) of children.

The Commissioner of Nagaland, who also serves as the Registrar for Aadhaar in the state, along with the Deputy Commissioners, has been spearheading intensive enrolment drives for children. These concerted efforts have resulted in a significant increase in the number of MBUs.

Registrar for Aadhaar, Nagaland, KS Anden Konyak IAS expressed his heartfelt appreciation to all the Deputy Commissioners for their relentless efforts, which brought this recognition to the state. He stated that this achievement was made possible due to their continuous and dedicated work across the districts.
