Nagaland University has announced its participation in the prestigious AIU North East Zone University Championship, scheduled from January 5-11, 2026, hosted by Royal Global University in Guwahati, Assam.

Last year’s runners-up, securing second position in the tournament, the Nagaland University squad returns stronger with 22 talented players. Led by Coach Wati Longchar and Manager Mesanguto Meru, Deputy Director of Sports, Nagaland University, the team aims to claim the top spot this year.
