A one day workshop on “Soft Skills Training” was successfully conducted on February 12 for two batches of B Tech Students of the School of Engineering and Technology (SET), Nagaland University at Kohima Campus, Meriema.
The workshop was organized by the Training and Placement Cell of SET in collaboration with Keren Sumi Finishing School to train and equip the students and improve their future job prospects. The students were trained on interview etiquettes, public speaking, participation in group discussions etc. A total of 48 students participated in the two sessions workshop. The participants gave very positive feedback about the workshop after the end of the workshop.

Such workshops impart practical skills to the students and help in improving their communication skills, stated Shanchamo Yanthan, I/C Training and Placement Cell. Yanthan also thanked Prof Sujata Dash, Dean, NU-SET and Prof N Venuh, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Kohima Campus, Nagaland University for providing a wonderful opportunity to the students.
