Bethel children’s Home Tuensang, celebrated the National Sports Day on August 29 and 30 to commemorate the birth anniversary of legendary hockey player major Dhayan Chand, under the directive of Social Welfare Mission Vatsalya and led by the India Mission.

Om Saturday Bethel Children’s Home participated on marathon race around Tuensang Town with the banner to show and encourage the people of Tuensang on the importance of sports and fitness in one’s life under the theme “sports to promote peaceful and inclusive societies”. It also emphasized sports role in fostering unity and teamwork.

Children took part in different activities of sports and fitness.
