The School of Engineering and Technology, Nagaland University, Kohima Campus Meriema, organized a Motivational Talk by an Indian Navy Officer on October 17 at the Seminar Hall, Department of English.
Shanchamo Yanthan, In-charge Training and Placement chaired the program. Prof Sujata Dash, Dean, NU-SET, delivered a short speech where she encouraged the students to prepare for all types of jobs and highlighted the presence of women personnel in the Indian Navy.
Lt Cdr Bezai Moses of the Indian Navy delivered a talk on the job prospects for the B. Tech and Engineering students in the Indian Navy. He also elaborated the different branches where interested students can join and pursue their career in the Indian Navy.

The student can join the Indian Navy in any branch irrespective of the branch of Engineering that they are currently pursuing. He motivated the students to remain updated in their domains and keep learning new skills to compete in the competitive job market.
He also interacted with the students through Q&A and clarified their doubts and provided counseling.
