A delegation of 12 members represented Nagaland Baptist Churches Council (NBCC) at the 10th Asia Pacific Baptist Federation (APBF) Congress in Seoul, South Korea. The first Hybrid Congress (available to both in-person and online attendees) was held from 5 to 7 September 2022 at Global Mission Church, Seoul.
The NBCC Team was led by Rev Andrew Semp, Secretary Nagaland Missions Movement (NMM), Dr Niholi Sema, Vice President, NBCC and Rev Dr Hukashe A Zhimomi, Executive Secretary, Nagaland Police Baptist Churches Association (NPBCA). The same also represented NBCC at the General Executive Council meeting of APBF. Dr Niholi Sema was also the flag bearer of NBCC at the opening ceremony.
The NBCC Team was represented by delegates from Chakhesang Baptist Churches Council (CBCC), Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang (ABAM), Western Sumi Baptist Association (WSBAK), Council of Rengma Baptist Churches (CRBC), Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu (SBAK) Nito Mount and Nagaland Police Baptist Churches Association (NPBCA).
The 10th APBF Congress was held with ‘Stronger Together’ as its theme. The speakers on the occasion were Rev Edwin Lam, President, APBF, Dr Elijah Brown, General Secretary, Baptist World Alliance, Rev Dr. David Sung Eun Choi, Senior Pastor, Global Mission Church, Seoul, Rev Ai Nohara Tetseo, Lead Pastor, Elon318, Community Church, Okinawa Baptist Church, and Rev Melissa Lipsett, CEO, Baptist World Aid Australia.
