A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Nagaland Beekeeping & Honey Mission (NBHM) and ICICI Foundation for supporting rural development and for inclusive growth on the February 28 at the NBHM centrre in Chümoukedima.

The MOU was signed by officials in the presence of Secretary to Chief Minister and Team Leader NBHM, Sentiwapang Aier and zonal head ICICI Foundation Pumgouthing Tunzalion, development officer ICICI Foundation Remei Diphung and Branch Manager, Purana Bazaar Branch Rajkumar Bartha.

The objective of the project, as per an official bulletin, is to promote Nagaland Honey through the expansion and upgradation of honey processing plant, which will foster growth and development for forward market linkages for beekeepers in the state.
