Dimapur: FIR mentions names of seven students from Dimapur who may be involved

The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has filed a First Information Report (FIR) at the East Police Station, Dimapur regarding the leak of the Class IX Science Question Paper.

“It has been brought to our notice that there has been a leakage of Question Paper of Science in the on-going Class IX Phase-Il Examination 2023 i.e. on the 4th December, 2023”, NBSE stated in its FIR lodged on 4th December 2023.

It informed that the exam is being conducted in offline mode where the password for the question papers are given to the school heads a day ahead of the examination who downloads the document and have theme printed according to their requirements.

For the Question Paper in question, the password was given on 2nd December since 3rd December was a Sunday.

NBSE said that the information was brought to its notice after the examination duration time at around 11:00 am by the Principal, Government Higher Secondary School, Dimapur.

The FIR mentions names of seven students from Dimapur and Chümoukedima who may be involved in the leak of the Science Question Paper.

“I request you to kindly register a FIR and investigate the matter to help maintain the credibility of the conduct of examinations,” the Secretary of NBSE wrote on the report.
