NBSE Informs about Project Veer Gatha 3.0: Promoting Bravery and Patriotism among Students

Kohima: Fostering Civic Consciousness through Creative Projects and Stories of Gallantry Awardees

The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has officially notified all Heads of Registered Institutions about the launch of Project Veer Gatha 3.0 in the current academic year 2023-24. Developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and the Ministry of Education (MoE), Project Veer Gatha aims to instill a sense of patriotism and civic consciousness among students by showcasing the bravery of Gallantry Awardees and their inspiring life stories, DIPR informed

Project Veer Gatha, initiated under the Gallantry Awards Portal (GAP) in 2021, encourages students to create innovative projects and activities based on the courageous deeds of the Gallantry Award winners. Students can showcase their creativity through poems, paragraphs, stories, drawings, and videos celebrating the heroic achievements of these brave hearts.

The competition will be held at various levels, including District, State, and National, with winners at each stage being honoured by the respective authorities. The National-level winner will receive accolades from both the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Defence at a felicitation ceremony in Delhi.

To participate in Project Veer Gatha 3.0, all Heads of Registered Institutions are urged to promote and inform students about the competition. Entries can be uploaded on the MyGov Portal for consideration.
