The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has notified all the registered Heads of Institutions to inform students about the “International Cyber Olympiad 2024” and encourage the students to participate in the competition.

ICO is a prestigious competition for students of class 1 to 10, organised by International Cyber Olympiad (ICO,) that tests students’ knowledge and skills in computer science and also spreads awareness about the safe use of the internet and cyber security. It is a great opportunity for students to showcase their talent, compete with their peers on a global level and receive recognition for their achievements, the NBSE stated.

The Cyber Olympiad is based on the National Curriculum Framework for School Education developed by NCERT. All the questions given in the question paper will be of multiple choice questions (MCQs).

The Board said that the Date and Examination center would be notified at appropriate time, however, a mock test will be held in the month of July. NBSE has further advised students to register before 30th June 2024 to participate in the mock test.
