The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has said that stern action will be taken against students resorting to malpractices in the ongoing Class XI Promotion Examination.

In a notification issued on 12th February 2024 to all heads of higher secondary institutions registered under it, NBSE stated that students practising malpractices are liable for stern action against them as per the rules and directed the heads to inform the examinees about the penalties.

The Boad examinations for HSLC, Class XI and HSSLC across Nagaland commenced on Monday.

The first day of the examinations was however marked by an unpleasant allegation of the NBSE Class 12 English Question Paper being leaked. This unconfirmed report went viral on social media and caused a stir.

The NBSE is yet to make any statement on this regard.
