The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has wished “best of luck” to all students appearing the High School Leaving Certificate, Class XI and Higher Secondary Leaving Certificate Examinations 2024.
In a post on X, the Board said, “NBSE wishes all the students best of luck for the upcoming board exams”.
The Board exams begin on 12th February (Monday) and will go on till 6th March 2024.
NBSE had earlier informed that 22,152 candidates will be appearing the HSLC Examination 2024 from 95 examination centres. 449 candidates will also be appearing the HSLC Compartmental Examination 2024 from 16 examination centres.
The Class XI Promotion Examination 2024 will be appeared by 20,166 students from 185 registered higher secondary schools across Nagaland.
In HSSLC Examination, a total of 17911 candidates are enrolled (Arts – 14167, Commerce – 949 and Science – 2521) and will be appearing from 68 examination centres. There are also 274 candidates who will be appearing under Compartmental category in 20 compartmental examination centres.
ITEMS PERMITTED BY NBSE INSIDE EXAM HALL
(a) Admit Card in original, School Identity Card
(b) Stationery item i.e. Transparent Pouch, Geometry/Pencil Box, Blue/Royal Blue Ball Point/Gel Pen, Scale, Writing Board, Eraser, Analogue Watch and Transparent Water Bottles.
(c) Bus card
ITEMS BARRED BY NBSE INSIDE EXAM HALL
(a) Any stationery item – such as textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Calculator, Pen Drives, Electronics Pen/Scanner, etc.
(b) Any communication device – such as Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band, Camera, etc.
(c) Items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Pouches, etc.
(d) Any eatable item opened or packed, except for diabetic candidates.
(e) Any other item which could be used for unfair means.
Further, NBSE reminded students to refrain from any kind of mal-practices during the examinations. It also advised candidates to reach the examination centres in time by moving out early from home.
